Quick rule
Choose the verb that carries the speaker's intention, then use its pattern: suggest -ing, offer to, accuse sb of, insist on, admit -ing, refuse to.
He admitted underestimating the cost.
The supplier refused to replace the unit.
She suggested moving the review to Thursday.
They accused the contractor of cutting corners.
Common mistake
✗ She suggested me to go. → ✓ She suggested (that) I go. / She suggested going.
