Tenses
Quick rule
Simple = stable habit or identity. Continuous = current, temporary phase. Perfect (continuous) = started in the past, still relevant now.
I run a small studio, but at the moment I'm turning down most new work.
We've been testing the app for a fortnight and the crashes have stopped.
She teaches maths; this term she's covering physics as well.
I've known the family since we were at school together.
Common mistake
