Subject: Library refurbishment — temporary changes

Dear members,

From Monday 6 October, the main library will close for six weeks while the upper floor is refurbished. During this period, a smaller pop-up library will operate from the Community Centre on Bridge Street, opening 10:00–18:00 on weekdays and 10:00–14:00 on Saturdays. Loans can be returned to either site, but new reservations must be collected from the pop-up. Public computers will not be available, although free Wi-Fi will. Members studying for exams can book a quiet study slot in advance via the website. We apologise for the disruption and look forward to welcoming you back to a brighter, more accessible building in November.
